The texts, layout and code of this site belong to Julien Brun unless stated otherwise. Posters, images, titles and excerpts shown to illustrate the projects I worked on belong to their respective authors, directors, producers and rights holders. They are shown as professional references. If you hold rights and would like an item changed or removed, write to me and I will act promptly.
Reproducing the original content of this site without written permission is prohibited.
Liability
I do my best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee it is complete. Links to third-party sites (IMDb, LinkedIn, festivals, press, video platforms…) are provided for information; I have no control over their content.
Privacy
In short: this site collects no data about you and uses no cookies, trackers, analytics or advertising. The one exception is the Ko-fi donation panel, loaded only if you click to donate (see below).
What the site does
- No account, no cookies, no statistics. This site stores nothing on your device.
- Fonts. They are hosted on the site itself: no request is sent to Google or any other font service.
- Contact form. It sends nothing to the site: it opens your email app with a pre-filled message that you send yourself. I then receive your email address and the message, which I use only to reply and delete once the exchange is over.
- Videos. When a video excerpt is offered, it is loaded from Vimeo or YouTube (cookie-free mode) only if you click to play it. These platforms then apply their own privacy policies.
Hosting
Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data (notably your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. I do not have access to it in an identifiable form and make no use of it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
External links
The sites I link to (IMDb, LinkedIn, Google Drive, Ko-fi for donations…) have their own privacy policies and cookies. The CueSheet Manager and RackAudioSuite pages offer a Ko-fi donation panel, loaded only when you click “Donate” or “Support the project”: your browser then contacts Ko-fi, which may set its own cookies and process your IP address. See Ko-fi’s privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of any data you sent me by email by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
CueSheet Manager
CueSheet Manager is free software, presented on the application page.
Terms of use
- Free. The software is free, with no locked features. Donations are optional and carry no particular benefit or service.
- Provided “as is”. I give no warranty, express or implied, regarding its operation or fitness for a particular purpose. I cannot be held liable for data loss or damage resulting from its use. Please back up your projects regularly.
- Your declarations are your responsibility. The software helps prepare cue sheets, but you alone are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit to your collecting society or clients, and for checking the files produced before sending them.
- Independent software. It is not published, endorsed by or affiliated with SACEM, SDRM, ASCAP, BMI, Avid or any other company named. These names are trademarks of their respective owners, cited only to describe file formats.
- Use. The software is for personal or professional use. It must not be resold or redistributed under another name.
Personal data
Your projects, works and rights holders stay on your computer. The software creates no account, sends no telemetry and transmits no data automatically. It connects to the Internet only when you ask it to: searching the open MusicBrainz database, testing links, checking for a new version.
Downloads
Installers are offered through Google Drive links. Google applies its own privacy policy to those pages. The SHA-256 checksums shown on the application page let you verify that the file you received is the one I published.
